Philipsburg Manor Restoration
Tarrytown, NY
Built by Friederich Vlypse (Frederick Philips) in the mid 17th century, the restoration includes a working grain mill and mansion. Nearby is Kidd’s rock where Philips (a Tory) allegedly had business dealings with the notorious pirate Captain Kidd.
